Yes, the Big Ten schools will keep the talent in the midwest. The point is that there is increasingly less of it to keep. The exception to the rule is Ohio that is talent rich, and yes Ohio State will get the best talent in Ohio. Therefore, you will see Ohio State continue to have the most talented team in that league most years.

When you're playing in a league that has regular representation in a region, such as VT or UVA playing in Miami and Atlanta, it makes it easier to sell kids to leave the region because they will still play there on a regular basis.
